Cheats S30SCI Movie | The Battle Will Conquer America - The Warner Bros. Adapted Death Note

Friday, January 14, 2011.
Greetings, I have seen news about one of my favorite animes that will be adapted of the U.S. film makers and I will really wait for this one. Deathnote is my favorite anime as of today and I really like the story of this anime, I have also watched the Japanese movie version of Deathnote, and despite of the changes in the story, it appears as good as the original one. I will share you this story that I have taken on the web, as well as give a short background and trailer of Deathnote for the people who doesn’t know it.

News:
Filmmaker Shane Black has signed onto direct the manga adaptation Death Note for Warner Bros. Anthony Bagarozzi and Charles Mondry are currently writing the script.

The project is based off the manga series written by Tsugumi Ôba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata. The story revolves around a college student named Light who finds a mysterious notebook which has the unique power to kill anyone whose name is written in it. When the student uses his newfound power to rid the streets of criminals, he is pursued by an FBI criminologist.

The manga series, which has sold over 38 million copies worldwide, has spawned a number of features and TV shows in Japan and is Shane Black's favorite manga. Here's what he had to say about the project:

It's my favorite manga, I was just struck by its unique and brilliant sensibility. What we want to do is take it back to that manga, and make it closer to what is so complex and truthful about the spirituality of the story, versus taking the concept and trying to copy it as an American thriller. Jeff Robinov and Greg Silverman liked that."

No production schedule was revealed for Death Note.

Death Note comes to theaters in 2011. The film is directed by Shane Black.

Anime Synopsis and Trailer:
Yagami Light is an ace student with great prospects, who's bored out of his mind. One day he finds the "Death Note": a notebook from the realm of the Death Gods, with the power to kill people in any way he desires. With the Death Note in hand, Light decides to create his perfect world, without crime or criminals. However, when criminals start dropping dead one by one, the authorites send the legendary detective L to track down the killer, and a battle of wits, deception and logic ensues...

I have provided the first season only to give you an idea, on the other hand, the second season starts when L dies.

Japanese Movie Synopsis and Trailer:
Released into Japanese theaters in 2006, director Shusuke Kaneko's stylish adaptation of the best selling manga quickly trampled The Da Vinci Code on Japanese screens and subsequently and set box office records in Hong Kong and all across Asia. The plot picks up as aimless law student Light Yagami (Tetsuya Fujiwara) discovers a mysterious notebook in the middle of the street. Soon thereafter, Light discovers that if he writes a name in the notebook, that person will instantly die (generally of a heart attack). Of course it doesn't take long for Light to realize the extraordinary power he now holds, and before long he hatches a plan to rid the planet of crime by scribbling the name of notorious criminals in the pages of the powerful notebook and make the world a safer place for decent citizens everywhere. But Light isn't alone in his mission, because his new companion Ryuk - a flying god of death who only Light can see and who also happens to be the true owner of the notebook - is always there to egg him on and get a little laugh from the criminal holocaust. Over the course of the next few weeks, Light does away with millions of nefarious baddies and the global crime rate drops by seventy percent. Still, the police aren't too happy that a regular civilian seems to be taking the law into his own hands. Perhaps the only person capable of discovering Light's true identity is L (Kenichi Matsuyama) - a brilliant teenage detective with a taste for sweets and remarkable deductive reasoning skills. When the police chief (Takeshi Kaga of the hit television series Iron Chef) - who also happens to be Light's father - is assigned the task of unmasking the elusive killer, things really start to get interesting. A fast paced, goth-infused, cat-and-mouse thriller, Death Note was followed at the box office by the equally successful sequel Death Note: The Last Name just a few short months later.

Actually this was the first part only for there are three installments of Deathnote Movie, the second is Death note: The Last name and the third and last is Death Note: L Change the World
